Circle of Champions

A MendMaker Exercise

Your Secret Weapon for Confidence and Self-Belief

We all have those moments—the sweaty palms, the racing heart, the creeping self-doubt that makes us feel like we’re about to fail before we’ve even begun.

Maybe it’s a dream job interview, a big social event, or just one of those days when you feel like you’re not enough. You know deep down you’re capable, but your mind is working overtime to convince you otherwise.

So what do you do?

🔥 You step into your Circle of Champions.

This MendMaker exercise from my book MendMaker: The Survival Guide for Break Ups & Broken Hearts is your mental reset button, a tool you can use anytime, anywhere to shift from self-doubt to unshakable confidence.

And the best part? No dodgy dealers, no £50 down the drain—just pure, unfiltered belief in yourself.

Your Task: Create Your Circle of Champions

This confidence hack is a secret weapon you can use whenever nerves, doubt, or fear kick in. It’s simple, powerful, and works in an instant once you master it.

Step 1: Visualise Your Circle

👀 Look down and imagine a circle on the floor—big enough for you to step into.
🌈 The outline can be any colour you like—gold, red, glowing electric blue—whatever makes it feel powerful for you.
🔥 Really believe it’s there. The stronger you visualise it, the more powerful it becomes.

Step 2: Step Inside and Channel Your Greatness

🚀 Step into the circle and think of a time when you felt amazing. A time you absolutely nailed something—a work presentation, a personal challenge, a day when you just felt on top of the world.
💡 Can’t think of anything? No worries. Instead, imagine stepping into the mindset of someone you admire—an entrepreneur, a movie star, an athlete. How would they stand, feel, think? Step into their confidence.

Step 3: Intensify the Feeling

🎶 Feel it in your body. Let that confidence flow through your toes, up your legs, into your chest, and all the way to the top of your head.
🎭 See it. Hear it. Feel it. Imagine every little detail—what did the air feel like? What sounds were around you? Who was there?

Step 4: Step Out and Reset

🚶‍♂️ Step out of the circle and shake off the feeling—now, think of something that recently pissed you off.
😡 Let yourself feel those negative emotions for a second.

Step 5: Step Back Into Your Circle of Champions

🏆 Now, step back in. Relive the confidence, the power, the self-belief.
💪 Let it flood through you again—this is your safe space, your personal zone of greatness.

Step 6: Take It With You

Option 1: Step out of the circle, carrying that confidence with you.
Option 2: Imagine lifting your circle up, placing it around your waist like a belt of power. Whenever you feel your confidence slipping, place a hand on your belt and reignite those feelings.

Why This Works

🧠 Your brain responds to patterns and repetition. The more you practice this, the more your brain will instantly recognise your Circle of Champions as a trigger for confidence.
💪 It teaches you to control your state of mind. You’re no longer at the mercy of nerves or negativity—you have a tool to flip the switch instantly.
It’s fast, effective, and can be done anywhere. In the office bathroom before a big meeting? In the car before an interview? This works in seconds.

Final Thoughts: Step Into Your Power

This is more than just an exercise—this is a lifelong skill that will help you walk into any situation knowing you are strong, capable, and worthy.

Practice it. Perfect it. Own it.

Because when you see it, feel it, and believe it—there’s nothing you can’t do. 🔥

Now, go step into your greatness. Your Circle of Champions is waiting. 💥🏆
