WORKOUT YOUR DEPRESSION

Sadness, Melancholy, Despair, Gloom, Sorrow, Upset

Depression can feel like a heavy weight pressing down on your soul, a fog that dulls the colours of life, a quiet ache that lingers in the background of everything. I know this feeling well. I’ve been there, sitting in the depths of it, wondering if the light would ever return. And I want you to know—you are not alone.

This series of classes, sessions, exercises, and inspirations isn’t just something I created for others; it’s what helped me find my way through my own darkness. I’ve studied, explored, and practiced these tools myself, and I’m sharing them with you because they work.

What is Depression?

Dr Gabor Maté describes depression not as a random malfunction but as a response to unresolved pain, unmet needs, and emotional suppression. It’s not just in your head—it’s in your nervous system, your body, your very being. Brené Brown teaches us that vulnerability and connection are vital in healing, and that depression often thrives in isolation and shame.

Understanding depression means recognising that it’s not a sign of weakness. It’s a call for healing, for self-compassion, and for a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
